Ace Football previews the 12th round of the 2021/22 Premier League season with the latest betting and accumulator tips.

Leicester – Chelsea: 2

Chelsea have carried from where they left off under Thomas Tuchel last season. The Blues have the best goal and defensive records in the Premier League, and they look capable of victory anywhere. Leicester, in contrast, have been a bit up and down all season, so we’re backing a narrow away win.

Aston Villa – Brighton: X

This is a massive game for Aston Villa. It doesn’t matter if it’s Steven Gerrard’s first match as the club’s new manager, only three points will do. But a five-match losing streak could spell trouble for the Villains, while Brighton can hold their own away from home. The Seagulls are unbeaten on the road this season and memorably held Liverpool to a 2-2 draw in their last trip. We’re going for the draw in this one.

Burnley – Crystal Palace: X

Crystal Palace are hitting their sweet spot under Patrick Vieira and hope to make it three wins in a row. However, Burnley are no pushovers at home and can make life difficult for the Eagles. We can see this match ending in another draw.

Newcastle United – Brentford: 2

Eddie Howe makes his debut as Newcastle manager, but can he make the difference? The Magpies have been poor this season and have only won four of their last 20 home league games. Brentford, meanwhile, have to respond. The Bees are on a four-match losing streak but have fared well on the road this season.

Norwich City – Southampton: 2

Norwich are all over the place at the moment. The Canaries sacked their manager, Daniel Farke, after finally winning a game and still haven’t found a replacement. They could end up regretting this against an in-form Southampton.

Watford – Manchester United: 2

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to win this one. Fortunately for the manager, Manchester United seem to do better away from home. The Red Devils have lost just one of their last 31 away league games (W20 D11), and we’re backing them to get the job done against a Watford side yet to hit their stride under Claudio Ranieri.

Wolverhampton – West Ham: 2

West Ham proved their mettle by beating a heavy-fancied Liverpool side 3-2 last time out. The Hammers are on a four-match winning run and are unbeaten on the road this season. Wolves, meanwhile, have also done well but we feel the visitors can nick all three points.

Liverpool – Arsenal: 1

Arsenal are on a good run at the moment, but can they handle the heat at Anfield? The Gunners typically come up short against the big guns and would be happy to leave with just a point. But while Liverpool may have lost to West Ham last time out, we expect that was just a minor blip.

Manchester City – Everton: 1

The honeymoon period is over for Rafael Benitez. Unless the Everton boss snaps his side out of a five-match winless run soon, he could find himself under immense pressure. We expect Manchester City to add to the Spaniard’s problems by taking another home win.

Tottenham – Leeds United: 1

Antonio Conte has had two games plus the international break to settle in at Tottenham. While it’s too early to tell how effective he’ll be, we fancy his chances of getting a first Premier League win as Spurs boss against a woeful-looking Leeds.
