The hammers stunned Liverpool with a spectacular performance at London Stadium.

Liverpool were defeated 3-2 by West Ham in their Premier League match on Sunday. The Reds slipped to fourth place on the league table while the Hammers are standing right above them.

West Ham got an early opener through Allison Becker’s own goal in the third minute. The Reds were quick in their response to the goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold scoring the equalizer minutes before half-time.

The Hammers started the second half in better form and got their second goal seven minutes past the hour-mark. Following a careless Liverpool attack, Jarrod Bowen initiated a thunderbolt counter-attack for the hosts. The 24-year-old passed the ball to Pablo Fornals, who fired a precise low shot from the edge of the box.

West Ham doubled their lead through a brilliant corner kick seven minutes later. Kurt Zouma sneaked into the Reds’ box, converting a wide cross while being completely unmarked.

In the final ten minutes, Liverpool went all-in with their attacks and managed to make it 3-2 through Divock Origi’s late goal. However, it was not enough for the Reds to escape the defeat.

West Ham leapfrogged Liverpool with a brilliant home victory, while Liverpool suffered their first defeat of the season.
After the international break, Liverpool will host Arsenal on November 20, while West Ham face Wolves on the same day.
