Manchester United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Brighton on Tuesday.

Manchester United claimed an important 2-0 win over Brighton on Tuesday to move back into the top four on the Premier League table.

Cristiano Ronaldo ended his goal drought with a brilliant goal early in the second half. He created a superb chance for Sancho early in the first half which the Englishman should have dealt with better.

The visitors looked bright in the first half, and David De Gea needed his wits about him to keep them from putting one past him. Matters only got worse for Graham Potter’s men when Lewis Dunk brought Anthony Elanga down in the second half and was sent off after a VAR check.

Bruno Fernandes scored another for the hosts, leading them to their first win in four games, and taking the Red Devils to fourth on the league table.
