Mathias Pogba spoke about his brother Paul’s future at Manchester United and issued a warning to the Premier League club.

Paul Pogba has gone from United’s reject to one of their star players in a matter of weeks. The highly-rated midfielder has once again earned his place at Old Trafford after a series of impressive performances. Although many thought he’d be out the door in January, Pogba proved everyone wrong and showed critics his time in Manchester wasn’t over just yet.

However, Mathias Pogba’s recent comments on the matter suggest Paul may be leaning towards an exit after all. The 30-year-old, who plays in Spain, was a highly-awaited appearance on this Monday night’s ‘El Chiringuito’. In fact, this wasn’t the first time Mathias featured on the Spanish TV show. Almost a year ago, Pogba’s brother caused a lot of controversy when he stated that Paul wanted to leave Manchester United.

This time, Pogba’s older brother decided to raise havoc with the Red Devils once again as he was questioned about the French international’s future in the Premier League. Mathias looked eager to comment as the journalists speculated on the matter but also seemed like he was afraid of spilling the tea.

“He [Pogba] is improving his game, he’s getting better. The only thing I can say is: If you want money, now’s the time. It’s the only thing I can say. If they want to make money, now is the moment. Otherwise, he’ll go for free. I haven’t heard anything about renewing or leaving.”

Paul Pogba’s contract expires on June 2022, which is more than a year away. Therefore, Manchester United have at least a few months before the situation gets out of hand for the club. However, like his brother suggested, if United don’t renew or sell Paul Pogba this year, they may be in for a big financial loss.
