Paul Pogba has thrown his Manchester United future into a corridor of uncertainty after reiterating his desire to join Real Madrid.

Despite re-establishing himself as a regular under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, Pogba has endured an underwhelming start to the Premier League campaign.

His lackluster attitude saw him underperform in all three of United’s opening top-flight outings.

Easily dispossessed of the ball on numerous occasions, the 27-year-old midfielder was a direct culprit for some cheap goals the Red Devils have conceded this season.

Indeed, instead of being a catalyst to reinvigorate the fallen giants, he has done little to help Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park so far.

The Frenchman’s mediocre performances could be put down to his efforts to force his way out of the club at the end of the season.

Having entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, Pogba seems hell-bent on swapping England for Spain next summer.

Heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid over the past few transfer windows, the World Cup winner could finally fulfill his long-term dream.

Currently away on international duty with France, Pogba has once again fueled speculations linking him with teaming up with Zinedine Zidane’s side.

“Many things have been said,” he replied when asked if he would accept a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu [per talkSPORT].

“What can I say? Yes, all football players would love to play for Real Madrid. It is a dream for me, why not one day?

“I am in Manchester, and I love my club. I am playing in Manchester. I’m having fun, and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves.

“I will give everything to the max, like my team-mates.”

Manchester United still have an option to extend his contract for a further year, but Pogba remains coy when it comes to committing to fresh terms.

“No-one has told me anything.

“I have not spoken to [United executive vice-chairman] Ed Woodward. We haven’t spoken about a new deal.

“At the moment, I am in Manchester, and I am concentrating on getting back to my best form.

“I think there will be a moment when the club will come and talk to me and maybe offer me something or not.”
