Struggling to adapt to life in Italy, the former Spurs playmaker is linked with a reunion with a manager under whom he starred for five years.

Paris Saint-Germain are “looking at all the possibilities”, says new boss Mauricio Pochettino as he neither confirms nor denies the club’s interest in Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen seems destined to leave Inter Milan having fallen out of favor under Antonio Conte.

He has started in just four of his side’s 15 Serie A outings this term, and Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta revealed last month that they will try to get rid of the player in January.

The Denmark international was regarded as of the most creative talents while in the Premier League but he has been largely unsuccessful in maintaining that status ever since departing Tottenham in January 2020.

“This is not the time to comment on rumors, we just arrived a few days ago,” Pochettino responded to talks of a potential reunion with Eriksen in his first press conference as PSG boss, via Goal.

“We are monitoring the recovery of our injured players, we are talking with Leonardo and it is true that a club like PSG is looking at all the possibilities it has, all the more so with this complicated period linked to the health crisis.”
