Newly-appointed Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has reignited the club’s interest in Paul Pogba and could use Paulo Dybala to facilitate the deal.

Pirlo shared the pitch with Pogba during his time at Juventus and is now keen to bring his former teammate back to the Allianz Stadium.

The ex-Italian dynamo replaced Maurizio Sarri at the helm of the ‘Bianconeri’ earlier this month and is planning to overhaul a squad that faltered badly in the Champions League this term.

Restoring the partnership with Pogba appears to be topping Pirlo’s agenda, as he looks to breathe in fresh life into Juventus midfield line.

As per the Italian publication Tuttosport, the reigning Serie A champions are ready to offer Paulo Dybala as part of a player-plus-cash bid for the World Cup winner.

Manchester United are reluctant to give up their star playmaker and are continuing to stick to their £100million valuation.

Pogba has regained his indispensable first-team status at Old Trafford since returning to full fitness post restart, forming up a formidable midfield partnership with Bruno Fernandes.

However, the 27-year-old has yet to clear doubts surrounding his future in Manchester.

He had been pushing for a move last summer, with Juventus and Real Madrid credited with an interest in the towering midfielder.

Although Juve’s interest cooled over the course of 2019/20, Pirlo is eager to reunite with Pogba in Turin and looks to spark a new round of rumors.

Dybala, who enjoyed a decent season under Sarri, could fall victim to his manager’s new ideas for the Serie A giants.

The Argentinean forward had been a subject of interest from Manchester United, but negotiations between the parties have gained real momentum.
