Andrea Pirlo insists attention to every single detail in matches is a must if his team are to keep up their Serie A winning streak.

Juventus lost more ground in the Serie A title race early in the season after they were held to a draw by Lazio.

Cristiano Ronaldo handed his side the lead just 15 minutes into the match as he tapped home from close range on Juan Cuadrado’s cross – netting his 27th goal of the calendar year.

Ronaldo was subbed off at minute 76 after it appeared that he had picked up a minor knock, and it marked the first of Juve’s miseries of the night.

Juve thought they had all three points in the bag but just as the clock was ticking down the final seconds, Felipe Caicedo struck to salvage a point for Lazio.

Andrea Pirlo expectedly did not take the draw too well suggesting that his team lacked both enough attacking and defensive discipline.

Pirlo told DAZN, via Football Italia: “Championships are won if we take care of every detail, we mismanaged the ball in the final ten seconds and they scored the equalizer.

“The head is the most important thing, if you go on the pitch with a not positive attitude you do bad performances. Too bad for the result we deserved more.

“We lack malice and desire to achieve these results. There were no signs we would allow a goal, we have to give something more.”
