Juventus director Fabio Paratici has responded to claims linking Paul Pogba with a possible return to the Italian giants.

Juventus director Fabio Paratici has stated that everyone at the club has a soft spot for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. However, he adds that it is too early to be talking about transfer targets as the midfielder’s future continues to remain uncertain.

The Frenchman returned to Old Trafford in 2016 after four trophy-laden years in Turin. The Red Devils paid a then-record fee to bring their former player back to Manchester despite initially losing him on a free transfer.

Pogba arrived in much fanfare at Old Trafford but has failed to deliver on that promise till date.

Injuries and inconsistent form meaning the Red Devils fans have only seen glimpses of his best. His future remains a talking point with the player even recently opening the door for a move to Real Madrid.

Links of a return to Juventus have also come up one or two times and sporting director Paratici says the club still have ‘interest’ in their former player.

“Right now, Pogba is a Manchester United player and it is far too early to think about future transfer targets,” the director said as quoted by Manchester Evening News.

“We all care for Pogba here, one of many ex-players who gave Just so much, but it’s too early to talk about future objectives.”

“We are concentrated on constructing this team for this season, that is where our focus lies.”
