The Bianconeri boss has provided key updates on three injured stars for the upcoming Champions League match.

Paulo Dybala and Leonardo Bonucci will not play against FC Porto, says Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo, who added that Aaron Ramsey is available after a muscle problem.

The Serie A champions recommence their hunt for a first European title since 1996 by visiting Porto in Portugal on Wednesday night for the opening leg of a last-16 tie. They’ll be doing so, however, without two key men.

One of them is Dybala, who has been sidelined with a knee injury for over a month. The forward reported for training in Continassa on Tuesday, along with Ramsey and Bonucci, but will remain unavailable for now.

Bonucci, meanwhile, has missed the club’s last two games against Inter Milan and Napoli. The veteran center-back has struggled to bounce back from a muscle problem he sustained in the 2-0 win over Roma on February 6.

“Ramsey is available, Dybala is not ready and Bonucci is out,” said Pirlo during his pre-match conference on Tuesday afternoon.

“However, they will still travel with us because they all want to be close to the team.”

Juan Cuadrado and Arthur Melo, on the other hand, are set to miss out altogether. The injured Juventus pair missed training, effectively ruling them out of the Porto match.
