Ozil already revealed yesterday that he is edging towards joining his boyhood club.
The midfielder responded to a Fenerbahce tweet with two love heart emojis consisting of the club’s colors as well as an hourglass symbol, indicating the announcement could be made soon.
Ozil has now shared another tweet on Sunday afternoon that hinted towards life in Turkey, tweeting the number 67 along with a love heart emoji.
Having worn the No.10 jersey at previous clubs, the German could be set for a new number and perhaps ’67’ might mean something to the midfielder.
Regardless, it further confirms that Ozil is just steps away from leaving the Gunners after almost a decade at the Emirates.
