The Blaugrana could be set to pay an additional transfer fee for Dembele by the end of the weekend.

The Blaugrana agreed on a €105m transfer deal to sign Dembele from Dortmund in August 2017. The agreement included various performance-related add-ons, which could make the overall fee rise to €135m.

And should the forward feature against Alaves, and make his 100th appearance in the process, it will activate another €5m bonus for Dortmund. However, Barca will not be obliged to pay this installment again.

This will bring Dembele’s overall transfer fee up to €125m so far.

The only remaining bonus left is a €10m add-on clause that only becomes activate if Barcelona have won the Champions League twice.
