After another impressive campaign in the Premier League, Heung-Min Son has put pen-to-paper on a new contract at Tottenham.
Heung-Min Son has signed a new four-year contract at Tottenham until the summer of 2025.
Spurs confirmed the news on Friday morning in what can only be a major boost for the club. With Harry Kane’s future in doubt, Son’s new deal is most welcome. The South Korean has become a key player since his €30 million arrival from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has only improved as the years have rolled by.
It’s no secret Spurs were keen to tie him down to a new deal, especially given his fine form last season, and the club chiefs have finally done so.
“It was already a big honor to play here for six years,” said Son on the club’s website.
“The Club have showed me massive, massive respect and obviously I’m very happy to be here.
“It’s like home, especially with the fans, the players, the staff. There was no decision. It was easy. I’m so happy to be here and will be so glad to see the fans again soon.”
Son has managed 107 goals and 64 assists in 280 appearances across all competitions at Spurs.
