After months of speculation regarding his future, Neymar has put pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal with PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Neymar has signed a new contract that will keep him in France until June 2025.

The former Barcelona star has put an end to months of speculation linking him with a return to La Liga by agreeing to fresh terms with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

It serves as a major boost for PSG as they continue to chase for a first Champions League title and maintain their domestic dominance in France.

“I’m really pleased to continue my adventure at Paris Saint-Germain,” Neymar told the club’s website.

“I’m very happy in Paris, and proud to be part of this squad, to work with these players, a great coach, and to be part of the history of this club.

“These are things that make me believe even more in this great project. I have grown as a person here, as a human being and as a player, too. So I am very happy to extend my contract and I hope to win many more trophies here.”

Neymar has managed 85 goals and 51 assists in 112 appearances in all competitions since completing a world-record €222 million transfer from Barcelona to PSG in the summer of 2017.

With the 29-year-old’s future sorted, PSG will now focus on resolving Kylian Mbappe’s future in the French capital.
