As a result, the former FC Barcelona man will not travel along with the rest of his teammates to the Stade Saint-Symphorien for the match against Metz on Wednesday.
Messi is also a doubt for PSG’s Champions League clash with Manchester City next Tuesday while will also miss the subsequent Ligue 1 game against Montpellier on Saturday.
