The presidential elections over at Real Madrid came to a quick end with Florentino Perez staying on for another term.
Real Madrid have announced Florentino Perez has been re-elected as president for another four years.
After returning for a second spell in 2009, Perez has won the last two presidential elections uncontested in 2013 and 2017, and he was widely expected to win another term.
There were rumors Cox Energy founder Enrique Riquelme would compete. The 32-year-old, however, confirmed he won’t enter the elections earlier this week, leaving Perez with no opposition again.
The 74-year-old, therefore, continues as Real Madrid president for a sixth term.
