The Catalan giants fended off competition from Chelsea and Arsenal to seal a deal for the Brazil international.
Barcelona and Leeds United have both announced an agreement in principle for the sale of Raphinha.
The announcement comes just a day after reports emerged claiming the two clubs had agreed on a transfer fee worth €67 million for the 25-year-old winger, with add-ons included.
Raphinha, who is set to sign a contract at Camp Nou until 2027, is in Barcelona and awaiting his medical.
“FC Barcelona and Leeds United Football Club have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Raphael Dias Belloli, Raphinha, pending the player passing his medical,” read a statement from Barcelona.

Dembele to stay, Trincao goes out on loan
Raphinha’s arrival will not influence Ousmane Dembele’s future. The Frenchman’s contract at Barcelona expired on June 30, but he was at the training ground on Tuesday. He completed a medical on the morning of that day and will sign a new two-year contract with the club.
“This week we will sign and present Raphinha and Dembele,” Barca president Joan Laporta told reporters on Wednesday.
Francisco Trincao, meanwhile, has joined Portuguese side Sporting CP on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old winger spent the 2021/22 campaign out on loan at Wolves in the Premier League.
