The Reds’ debacle in 2020/21 has led to speculations that the German manager could be on his way out of Anfield, even though he’s contracted until 2024.

Jurgen Klopp will stay at Liverpool regardless of whether the club attains Champions League qualification, informs the manager’s agent Marc Kosicke.

Klopp’s Liverpool have become a shadow of their previous selves. The team that ran away with the Premier League title last season and were crowned the champions of Europe the season before that are struggling to even crack the top-six this term.

The Reds are set to endure a trophyless season, having exited the FA Cup at the 4th round following a 3-2 defeat to Manchester United and dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Arsenal. Their European journey came to an end after a 3-1 aggregate loss to Real Madrid.

Klopp’s future at the club has become a subject of intense speculation in light of those misfortunes. It has been reported that he is considering a change in scenario, especially that there will be a job vacancy for the Germany national team soon with Joachim Low set to step down this summer’s European tournament.

The 53-year-old’s agent, however, has now brushed aside any such rumors.

Asked whether Klopp would remain at Liverpool next season, Kosicke firmly replied on Sky Sports Germany: “Absolutely! No discussion.”
