Arsenal teammates Eddie Nketiah and Dani Ceballos were caught showing heated frustration at each other prior to the Fulham match.
Mikel Arteta chose to leave Eddie Nketiah and Dani Ceballos out of his starting XI for Arsenal’s opening match of the 2020/21 Premier League season against Fulham.
A fight was seen breaking out on the pitch between the two substitutes during the pre-match warm-up.
During a drill that involved all the substitutes form a circle with one player in the middle, Ceballos lunged to claim a loose ball and ended up catching Nketiah with a late challenge.
Nketiah clearly got riled up by the harsh tackle from Ceballos. The former murmured something to the latter, prompting the Spanish midfielder to shove the English forward.
There was a moment of calm before things got heated up between the pair for the second time. Nketiah blasted the ball towards Ceballos after sustaining another challenge by him.
As arms began to flail, Sead Kolasinac cut up the situation from escalating any further by putting his large 6 feet frame between his two angry teammates.
