Alexandre Lacazette is happy at Arsenal and says he has no intention of leaving the club anytime soon.

Lacazette says he is looking forward to playing more under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.

Since taking over from Unai Emery last December, Arteta has led the Gunners to FA Cup and Community Shield honors.

While the Gunners have looked more stable, Lacazette has seen an uncertain future of late.

Multiple reports have claimed Arsenal were open to letting the Frenchman depart the club this summer.

With the new season less than a day away, Lacazette couldn’t have picked a better time to dismiss those rumors.

“I’m at Arsenal. I signed a five-year contract to improve and win titles. I’ve got two years left and I’m determined to stay,” he said to L’Equipe.

When asked if that is his final decision, he replied: “From me, yes.”

Moving further, Lacazette has been strongly linked with moves to Atletico Madrid and Juventus but says he knows nothing about them.

“If it’s true, no, it’s not pleasing,” he continued.

“But what counts are the choices of the coach and having his confidence. It’s him who picks the team, not the directors in their offices, and I know I’ve got his confidence”

Lacazette also heaped praise on Arteta and spoke on the change the Spaniard has brought to the club.

Lacazette sang the praises of Arteta, hinting that much has changed under his stewardship.

“He’s brought some order to the club, to the squad,” he added.

“He’s brought ambition in terms of what he is looking forward to doing and what he has known with what he experienced at Manchester City.”
