Ahead of Kylian Mbappe’s final year at PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has a master plan that involves the French forward and Neymar for the future.

Regardless of all the rumors surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s future at PSG, the young star already agreed to begin conversations about his contract extension. His father already confirmed he is in talks with Leonardo about the next step in the young player’s career. It’s no secret he wants to play at Real Madrid sometime in the future but he is still quite young to do that.

A club as massive as Los Blancos tend to sign players who are more experienced and ready to take over the world. We are not saying Kylian Mbappe won’t succeed at the Spanish club if he signed with them next season. All we are saying is that he will have better opportunities to win if he waits a little longer to make the move.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi has a master plan he already placed in motion with this player and Neymar. We could see the club owner talking to both stars during today’s practice as a gesture to show the world they have a great relationship. This is all part of Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s plan to make PSG even stronger than they already are.

Where does Messi fit in all this?

According to La Sexta Deportes, Nasser’s plan is directly linked to Lionel Messi’s possible arrival to PSG next season. Since he will be coming to the club as a free agent, they can certainly cut some of their less important players in order to give him the wage he wants. But for Leo, winning titles is far more important than money. Making an attacking trio alongside Neymar and Mbappe can certainly get him within arm’s length of another Champions League.

Nasser’s plans to renew his two best players’ contracts is only the first step towards an incredible summer. Messi is the ultimate goal but keeping the players he already has is just as important. Real Madrid is the only club that can do anything to change Al-Khelaifi’s plans to have the best-attacking trio in the world when the next World Cup comes.
