Jose Mourinho took to Instagram to send a message to his Tottenham players in the aftermath of their loss in the Europa League.

Jose Mourinho cut a frustrated look after his side suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Belgian side Royal Antwerp.

No one saw that coming and many expected the North London side to easily dispatch their opponents.

However, Antwerp didn’t follow the script and produced one of the big upsets of Thursday night.

After falling behind in the 29th minute, Mourinho tried all his best to inspire a comeback for his side. Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn, Carlos Vinicius, and Giovani Lo Celso were all substituted off at half-time.

Gareth Bale was on the pitch as well but was unable to deliver in front of goal. After the game, Mourinho made statements that showed he was visibly upset with his players.

“I would like to make 11 [changes]! I didn’t make five as I was afraid of a long 45 minutes,” he said as per Sky Sports.

But that was not all. Mourinho went to Instagram to further vent his frustrations.

In a post accompanied by a picture of himself looking distinctly solemn, he told his Tottenham flops to be in training at 11 am.

The caption read: “Bad performances deserve bad results. Hope everyone in this bus is as upset as I am. Tomorrow 11 AM training.”

Tottenham would be aiming to get back to winning ways when they face Brighton on home turf this Sunday.
