Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho jokes hat-tricks are now becoming a routine feat for Harry Kane, who bagged one against Maccabi Haifa.

Harry Kane was in good mood to score as he bagged a hat-trick in his side’s 7-2 win over Maccabi Haifa in the Europa League qualifiers.

The Englishman is no stranger to scoring lots of goals and was motivated to do so once again on Thursday evening.

It took only two minutes for Kane to open the scoring before grabbing another in the 56th minute and then completing his hat-trick via a penalty in the 74th minute.

With all the goals that the striker has scored, Mourinho joked that he doesn’t even keep his hat-trick balls anymore.

“He’s scored so many hat-tricks that I don’t even believe that he keeps every ball at home,” Mourinho told Premier Sports, via Goal, after the game.

Kane has seen a prolific career at Spurs so far with 191 goals and 35 assists in 293 appearances so far. The four-time club top scorer remains to be one of the more valuable players in Mourinho’s lineup.

Despite the offensive display of Kane, his three goals weren’t the only noteworthy performance in the recent match. Lucas Moura, Giovani Lo Celso, and Dele Alli also contributed to the win by netting goals of their own.

“But it’s always nice to score. It was good that we managed to save him 15 minutes, and of course, again, the team is the most important thing and we did it,” Mourinho added on the other players.

A tougher trip awaits Spurs when they take on Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. Full of confidence at the moment, Harry Kane will fancy his chances of getting on the score sheet once again.
