Chelsea identify Traore as Hakimi alternative

The European champions have identified Adama Traore as a transfer alternative to Achraf Hakimi this summer.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel rates the Wolves star highly and believes he would provide Reece James competition in a right-wing-back role. Leeds United have also expressed an interest in Traore.

Signing Hakimi, though, remains the priority. The Blues have offered Inter Milan a player-plus-cash deal for the Moroccan. But Paris Saint-Germain’s reported €70 million bid has put the Parisians in the hot seat. [Diario AS – in Spanish]

Dortmund issue Man United a Sancho ultimatum

Borussia Dortmund have issued Manchester United a ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ transfer fee of £77 million (€90m) plus add-ons for Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils have agreed on personal terms with Sancho, but haven’t been so successful with Dortmund in settling on a selling price. The German giants reportedly want their player’s future resolved before pre-season starts on July 23. [TalkSPORT]

Barcelona make an approach for Gosens

The Blaugrana recently made contact regarding a transfer for Atalanta left-back Robin Gosens. English and Italian clubs have also expressed an interest.

The 26-year-old has carried over his impressive Serie A form to Euro 2020, having starred in Germany’s 4-2 win over Portugal on Saturday, and recently opened up on plans to play in the Bundesliga one day.
