Bayern plot a bid for Premier League goal machine
Bayern Munich could launch a transfer bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane in 2023.
The Bundesliga leaders hope Kane won’t sign a contract extension with Spurs. His current deal runs until June 2024. Bayern want to bring him to Germany as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who left the club this summer for FC Barcelona in a €45 million deal.
Kane, of course, may be able to fill such big boots. The striker is the third highest goalscorer in Premier League history, having scored 188 goals in 288 appearances. He is currently on five goals in six games for this season. [Christian Falk – Bild]
Costa is set for a Premier League return
Diego Costa could be on his way back to the Premier League on a free transfer.
The former Chelsea striker will complete a medical at Wolves on Tuesday, nearly nine months after leaving Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.
Wolves have set their eyes on the 33-year-old after losing summer signing Sasa Kalajdzic to an ACL injury on his debut and star striker Raul Jimenez to a potential groin problem. [The Athletic]

Will Gallagher swap Chelsea for Palace?
Crystal Palace could table a £20 million bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old Englishman enjoyed a superb loan spell at Selhurst Park last season. He has since returned to Chelsea and featured in five of the Blues’ six Premier League games this term, starting three times. [Daily Mail]
Gavi is also on Bayern’s transfer list
Aside from Harry Kane, Bayern Munich also have an eye on Barcelona midfielder Gavi.
The 18-year-old will be out of contract at Camp Nou in the summer of 2023 as things stand. He is a key part of Xavi Hernandez’s side, having played in all four LaLiga games this season. [Christian Falk – Bild]

Soyuncu could be on his way to Galatasaray
Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu could join Turkish club Galatasaray before next week’s transfer deadline in Turkey.
The 26-year-old Turkey international was left out of the Leicester squad for Sunday’s 5-2 defeat to Brighton. He has only played once for the Foxes all season so far. [Leicester Mercury]
