Bologna’s manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is convinced someone within the squad is leaking information to the media and has taken drastic measures to prove it.

Former Yugoslavian defender Sinisa Mihajlovic has never failed to bring interesting and controversial stories to the press. The 51-year-old manager has fraternized with war criminals, defended right-win extremists, argued women aren’t qualified to talk about football, and been accused of racism by Patrick Vieira.

Love him or hate him, no one can accuse Mihajlovic of being a boring man. The controversy involving him and his Serie A side Bologna is the latest testament to it.

Mihajlovic is convinced someone in his team is leaking the club’s tactics to the press. Therefore, there was only one way to prove it. At this week’s training, the manager told the team to try a new formation with three defenders. Surprisingly, Mihajlovic was right. The Italian media soon found out about it, and Bologna’s boss got the confirmation he needed.

“When I find him, things will get ugly.”

“I only tried out a new formation to find out who the f*ck is talking to journalists,” Mihajlovic revealed. “I did it on purpose because no one was expecting it, so now I’m investigating.”

Moreover, the manager gave very aggressive remarks on the matter, making serious threats to the ‘mole’ in the squad.

“I swear, if I find who’s been speaking with the media I’m sticking him to the wall. I’ll make sure he doesn’t play again.”

Mihajlovic’s remarks came in his pre-match press conference, as Bologna faces Inter tomorrow night. After winning their last two Serie A matches, the manager seems worried about Inter’s striker Romelu Lukaku.

“As a footballer, I wouldn’t be able to stop him, he is stronger, quicker, bigger than me. Maybe I could stop him inside a boxing ring but in a football pitch where you can’t give illegal blows, I would not know how to do it.”
