Kylian Mbappe will undergo rehabilitation as he sustained yet another injury setback while on international duty with France.

Things are just not falling in order for Kylian Mbappe as he sustained yet another injury while on international duty with France.

On Thursday, the French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed that the 22-year-old will go back home after suffering from a calf problem. During France’s 1-1 draw against Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mbappe was taken off the field in the last phase of the game.

Following the necessary medical examination, Les Bleus announced that the striker will not be able to play in the next two World Cup qualifiers for his nation.

“On Wednesday in Strasbourg, at the end of the match against Bosnia-Herzegovina (1-1), Kylian Mbappe felt a pain in his right calf. Which does not allow him to participate in the next two matches of the French team. In Ukraine on Saturday and against Finland in Lyon-Décines next Tuesday,” the FFF announced in a statement published on the federation’s official website.

“The Paris-SG striker has been made available to his club. He will leave the group in the evening and will not be replaced for the trip to Ukraine.”
