Liverpool ace Sadio Mane has reportedly been offered to Barcelona by his representatives amid growing uncertainty surrounding the future of Lionel Messi.

Sadio Mane could soon swap Liverpool for Barcelona after overseeing his camp establish contacts with the Spanish heavyweights, report TMW.

Barca have already started preparing for life after Leo Messi, adding several high-profile names to their summer wish-list.

Since their hot pursuit of Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez has yet to bear any fruits, the La Liga side are exploring other options.

Mane, who’s been nothing short of outstanding since arriving at Anfield from Southampton four years ago, is one of the leading candidates to replace the Argentinean superstar.

Jurgen Klopp has so far been reluctant to be drawn on the rumors suggesting that he might lose one of his standout performers.

But, unlike last summer when Real Madrid came knocking on Liverpool’s door, Barcelona seem to be much more resolute, particularly in light of Messi’s imminent departure.

The 33-year-old forward has already informed the club of his desire to part ways, which threatens to leave the Catalans with a sizeable gap to fill.

Mane, who smashed a 20-goal barrier for the third year running, would be an exciting addition to Ronald Koeman’s squad.

Yet, the Camp Nou outfit will likely have to dish out north of £75million to get the go-ahead from Liverpool.

The presence of Koeman could still play a significant role in luring Mane to La Liga after the two enjoyed a good relationship at Southampton.
