Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has won the Premier League PFA Fans’ Player of the Year award for 2019-20.

Sadio Mane is the latest Liverpool star to be honored with an individual award this season.

The Senegalese enjoyed yet another brilliant campaign in front of goal for the Reds.

Mane played a huge part in his side’s title-winning run. He scored 18 goals and recorded seven assists in the recently concluded season. Only Mohamed Salah had a hand in more goals than the Senegalese forward.

The 28-year-old was chosen by fans as the best player for the 2019/20 season. He beat City’s Kevin De Bruyne and teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold to win the award.

Mane had 41% of the votes and was the clear winner by a far margin. Other nominees in the running for the award include Virgil van Dijk, Raheem Sterling and Jamie Vardy.

That win for the Liverpool man also meant the PFA, FWA and Premier League Player of the Year awards all saw different winners. Jordan Henderson won the FWA award and De Bruyne was crowned by the Premier League.

Mane continues to be an integral part for Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool setup. Since joining the club in 2016, he has amassed 170 appearances so far, scoring a respectable 81 goals in that time frame.
