The Red Devils are set to loan out the young winger for the rest of the campaign.

Manchester United are on the verge of sending Facundo Pellistri to Granada on a six-month loan deal.

Pellistri, who has previously spent two loan spells in La Liga before, is keen on leaving Old Trafford to secure regular playing time. This season, the Uruguayan forward has struggled to keep his place in Erik ten Hag’s plans, usually coming off the bench in the closing minutes.

According to MEN, United are expected to accept Granada’s offer for Pellistri’s loan move. The young winger could add to his tally of 35 La Liga appearances as he awaits his breakthrough in elite-level football.

Despite making 14 appearances for United this season, Pellistri is still far from securing a regular starting spot under Ten Hag. He was an unused substitute in the Red Devils’ last three games after a string of brief cameos in the prior weeks.

Pellistri is set to become the third Manchester United player to leave the club to join La Liga on loan. Mason Greenwood secured a controversial transfer to Getafe at the beginning of the season, while Hannibal Mejbri joined Sevilla last week.

Pellistri could make his Granada debut when they host Atletico Madrid next Monday.
