Despite a droughtful season, the Manchester United outcast has completed his transfer to Sevilla before the end of the month.

Manchester United outcast Anthony Martial has officially moved to Sevilla as announced by the club on Tuesday.

The Frenchman will feature for the La Liga club for the rest of the campaign. Many clubs were interested in the service of the 26-year-old including Serie A giants Juventus.

However, Martial had his heart set upon Sevilla and has finally completed his transfer. The striker has racked just four starts across all competitions for Manchester United this season. Therefore, he has found a new path in Spain for more game time in the future.

Sevilla’s official website posted: “Sevilla FC and Manchester United FC have reached an agreement which will see Anthony Martial, born in Massy, France on 5th December 1995, join the club on loan until the end of the current season.”

“The club have completed a major signing and have strengthened their attacking options, with the player able to play either as a striker or on either flank, preferably on the left, where he can cut inside.”

As per reports, Sevilla are going to pay €6 million of Martial’s salary for the next six months. Moreover, the forward has agreed to receive a pay cut to help complete the transfer.

In addition, the Spanish club has also convinced the Red Devils to go without a loan fee. And there will be no option for a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
