With just over a year left to run on his current contract, the Frenchman has been tipped to walk out the Camp Nou exit door in the summer.

Ousmane Demeble reveals he is yet to open contract extension talks with Barcelona but says he “feels good” at the club.

Dembele has established himself as a regular at Barcelona after putting his fitness issues in the past season.

A mere nine appearances across all competitions was managed by him during an injury-ravaged 2019-20 but the 23-year-old winger has already featured in 37 games in total so far this term.

It is the first time that the World Cup winner has been enjoying a consistent run of games ever since his  €105 million move to Camp Nou in August 2017.

However, there have been reports that Barca would be willing to cash in him should he fail to put pen to paper to new terms to avoid losing him for free next summer. Interest in the former Borussia Dortmund man has been reported from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.

“My future? I still have a year of contract left. There hasn’t been a discussion with the club yet, I’m happy, and I feel good,” Dembele told beIN SPORTS.

“Then there is the new president who has arrived and whom I do not know too well, but he is very close to the players. We’ll see how it goes.’
