During a press conference, one of Man United’s biggest stars confirmed his dream to someday play for Real Madrid after the Red Devils.
Man United has many world-beaters who dream big, some of them even wish to someday play for Real Madrid. Los Blancos are the gold standard for any footballer despite their recent economic issues. It is well-known that Paul Pogba has been a Zidane target for a few years, but his recent injury problems prevented him from going to Spain. Now that he is completely recovered from these issues, Pogba is back at it again.
As one of Mino Raiola’s biggest clients, Paul has a mapped out strategy to leave in the near future. Even though he tried to help the Red Devils win titles, Paul Pogba isn’t getting any younger. His current age is the ideal moment for him to leave England and try his luck in Spanish football. Now that he is in a more relaxed environment with France, the midfielder doesn’t mind opening up about his future.
Zidane will love Pogba’s flirting with Real Madrid.
During a press conference with France, Paul Pogba revealed he still plans to become a Real Madrid player in the future.
“We have all heard that things have been said. What to say? Yes, all footballers would love to play for Real Madrid,” said Paul via Goal.
“It might be a dream. It is a dream for me, why not one day? But I play for Manchester United and I love my club. I perform for Manchester United, I have fun and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves to be.
“I will give my maximum, like my team-mates. I have not spoken with Ed Woodward (executive vice-chairman of Manchester United),” he added.
“We did not talk about a renewal. For now, I am in Manchester and I mainly think about getting back to the best of my form.
“I think there will be a moment when the club will come and talk to me and maybe offer me something, or not. So far, nothing has happened. I can’t tell you something that I don’t know.”
