Amid all the protests outside of Emirates Stadium, a potential buyer from a major company just offered to buy Arsenal from Kroenke.

Arsenal is currently a club in a deep institutional crisis that was only accentuated by Stan Kroenke’s attempt to create the Super League. The Gunners’ chairman came into the picture back in 2007. By 2018, he had more than 90% of the stakes within the club that was once presided by David Dein. Kroenke is part of the American contingent of businessmen who saw great potential for profit in European football clubs.

Ever since Arsene Wenger left, he hasn’t been able to get the Gunners back to victory in the same way Dein did. After the European Super League fiasco, the supporters are finally saying ‘enough is enough!’. With all the protests outside Emirates Stadium, the fans are trying to find an ideal person to take over the club. It so happens that the Gunners might’ve found someone who is not a local but he does love Arsenal since he was a kid.

Spotify offers to buy Arsenal.

In a wild turn of events, Daniel Ek from Spotify just offered to buy the club. His proposal came through a post on his official Twitter account that read the following message: “As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for Arsenal as long as I can remember. If Kroenke Sports & Entertainment would like to sell Arsenal I’d be happy to throw my hat in the ring.” There hasn’t been any type of response from the Gunners’ owner yet but this single tweet is quickly becoming viral as the hours go by.

If the pressure is big enough, the club’s owner might feel forced to make the move and get rid of this terrible PR nightmare. At the end of the day, Stan Kroenke already owns a total of nine other sports teams across many different disciplines. The question here is if Daniel Ek has what it takes to take the Gunners back to glory.
