Zinedine Zidane does not envision Mariano Diaz and Borja Mayoral in his plans for the upcoming 2020/21 campaign.

Real Madrid have a conundrum on their hands. With their stadium plans in full effect, they cannot dip into the market with full force. They need to sell before they buy. This is a new territory for the Spanish giants.

Madrid have players that they need to get rid off. They have been active in the transfer window getting rid of deadwood. As many as nine players have been sent away from the Santiago Bernabeu, four on permanent deals and five on loan mones.

There are still four players whose future still remain to be resolved. Gareth Bale will sit down with Zinedine Zidane in the coming days. Sergio Reguilon is on his way to Manchester United or return to Romon Sanchez Pizjuan.

According to Marca, this leaves Borja Mayoral and Mariano Diaz still unsure about their futures.

Diaz was been linked with a move to Benfica but the player refused to leave. The Spanish forward earns 4.5 million euros annually and still has three years left on his contract.

Mayoral has also made matters unnecessarily complex for Los Blancos. The forward was linked with a move to Lazio but is keeping his options open. He has been linked with a move to Valencia.
