After Inter Milan’s Serie A victory, Romelu Lukaku sent Zlatan Ibrahimovic a message and recognized his mentality shift.

Romelu Lukaku seems like he wants to continue his particular rivalry with Zlatan Ibrahimovic after their previous row in the Milano Derby. Earlier in the season, we saw two trains collide during AC Milan’s Serie A match against Inter Milan. The moment was even immortalized by a local painter who made a massive mural right outside of Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

After this exchange, the Belgian star vowed to have the final laugh as he just did. It is safe to say that Ibrahimovic has one more motivation to return next season more involved than ever before. Lukaku just sent Zlatan a message in which he wrote: “The real God has crowned the king. Now bow down! King of Milano,” wrote Lukaku on his Twitter account.

Lukaku recognizes a shift in his mentality.

The Belgian player also spoke to La Tribune via Football Italia about his upcoming target with Belgium this summer: “Now I’m targeting the Euro 2020. I really hope that all the other Belgium players can win titles this year. Courtois, Eden and Thorgan Hazard, Witsel, De Bruyne. It would be great for the team to bring this spirit to the national team as well, so that we can all move forward together.

“Winning a club title allows you to gain experience that helps you face the games in a better way. It gives you the killer mentality that I had missed a little during my career. I have had too many moments where I have given up over the course of my career. Then I said to myself: ‘Enough, I’m tired, I’m 27 and it’s time for a change’. But my work doesn’t stop here. I’m happy because we won a title, but I’m already targeting the European Championship.”
