In an attempt to help his Inter Milan teammate, Romelu Lukaku provides his suggestion to the distressed Christian Eriksen.

The star striker for Inter Milan has reached out to help his teammate who is going through a tough time at the club. Romelu Lukaku mentioned that Christian Eriksen would make his situation better if he learns the Italian language.

The Denmark international moved to San Siro in January after his brilliance in the Tottenham midfield. Although, Eriksen has been fighting for his spot at Inter in the challenging Serie A. Also, he admitted that his planned move to Italy did not work out as he desired.

Moreover, the ex-Spurs star only made three appearances this season and walked off to the bench around the hour mark. And to help improve his misery, Lukaku believes that Eriksen should pick up the local language. This would aid the Danish to get closer to his teammates.

“Eriksen has all the qualities to become a top player, and I want to help him. But first, he has to learn Italian,” Lukaku told Kanal 5.

“I immediately got used to a new reality, but maybe he will need more time. With the language, he still has some work to do. If he learned Italian I am sure that everything would become easier for him.

”He could communicate better with everyone, team-mates and the coach, and would contribute more to the work of the whole team.”

Inter along with Lukaku and Eriksen sits seventh in the league table and will face Torino this weekend.
