The former Spurs star is struggling to find a place in Antonio Conte’s team which has left him to reconsider his future at San Siro.

Christian Eriksen’s future at Inter Milan has looked increasingly uncertain since the past few weeks, with the player linked to a host of clubs from around Europe.

The Danish playmaker’s transfer rumors are fueled by the fact that he is yet struggling to settle in his new environment ever since moving to Serie A from Premier League last January.

A return to Tottenham is being mooted for him while the 28-year-old is also supposedly the no.1 target for Paris Saint Germain.

Eriksen had forged his status as one of the world’s best midfielders during his Tottenham days but has lacked that creativity and guile at Inter.

Only 11 starts, with as many more coming off the bench, have been made in Italy by a man who was once an undisputed starter while in England.

“This isn’t what I dreamed of,” Eriksen opened up on TV2. “All players want to play as much as possible, but the coach decides who gets to go on the pitch.

“It is a strange situation, as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I. But the coach has different ideas and as a player, I have to respect that.

“I am concentrating on my football, then when the transfer window opens we will see if something will happen or not.”
