The Uruguay international looks to leave Arsenal this summer after two seasons out on loan.
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has a pre-contract agreement in place to join La Liga side Valencia, according to his agent Pablo Bentancur.
The 26-year-old has spent the past two seasons out on loan at Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina. He enjoyed a solid campaign for the latter last term. But while Fiorentina had a €15 million buy option in the loan deal with Arsenal, the Italian club decided not to take it up.
Torreira is now back at Arsenal’s London Colney training base and will join the Gunners’ pre-season tour of the United States.
Lucas Torreira on staying at Arsenal: “There is no chance. From the beginning, they told me that I didn’t have a place, so I don’t want to stay either. We’ll look for a new direction. Any team that wants me has to buy me, which would be around €15m.” [El Telegrafo] #afc pic.twitter.com/KtP1Pej3BH

Torreira has an offer on the table
The former Sampdoria man, however, has said there is ‘no chance’ of him staying in London. His agent has now confirmed that an offer is on the table.
“We have reached an agreement with Valencia, [Gennaro] Gattuso wants him,” Bentancur told 100% Deporte.
“We are gonna discuss with Arsenal. [Mikel] Arteta wants to see him in the pre-season. He had great numbers with AFC, but we have a pre-agreement with Valencia.”
Torreira has less than 12 months to run on his Arsenal contract.
The Uruguay international has made 89 appearances for the Premier League club, supplying four goals and six assists, on route to an FA Cup winner’s medal in 2019/20.
