Joachim Low is not happy with top German talents leaving the Bundesliga but has given his blessings to Kai Havertz and Time Werner.
The Bundesliga has a knack for producing top talents. It is understandably when they leave their humble surroundings for opportunities on the continent.
Kai Havertz and Timo Werner are the latest names to leave Deutschland for England. They will pair up at the Stamford Bridge in Chelsea colors.
Germany manager, Joachim Low understands the conundrum and has given his blessings to the attackers.
“I see it as negative when such great talents as Kai are no longer in the Bundesliga,” Goal quoted Low.
“But I also see the positives. The players develop their personalities abroad. I think if Kai and Timo take the next step at Chelsea, that will of course help us.”
Julian Draxler is on the fringes of first-team action at Paris Saint-Germain. Low believes the attacker needs to play regularly and discussed the matter with Draxler.
“I had a long conversation with him,” Low said. “It would be important for Julian to play week in week out at club level. But I don’t know how Paris are planning with him.”
Werner impressed for Germany, opening the scoring in their Nations League fixture against Spain. However, the new Chelsea man’s efforts were undone with Jose Gaya’s late injury-time equalizer.
