The prolific Pole is more than halfway through his current contract and is unsure whether he’ll finish his career at Bayern.

Robert Lewandowski is inarguably Bayern Munich’s most valuable player, with the striker having proven to be a rich source of goals over the years.

The Poland international, for instance, struck an incredible 55 goals in 47 games across all competitions last season to lead his side to Champions League, Bundesliga, and DFB-Pokal successes.

He has kept up his sharpness in front of goal in 2020/21, having netted 13 goals and registered five assists in 12 appearances already.

The 32-year-old has previously communicated his intention of having a prolonged career while also insisting that his current contract, which runs for three more years, is not his last one.

Now, whether or not the next contract will be at Bayern Munich is a different question altogether which Lewandowski hasn’t give much thought to yet.

Quizzed if he’ll finish his career with Bayern, Lewandowski responded talking to The Associated Press: “I have the contract until ’23 and I never think what’s happening after.

“Two-and-a-half years more on the contract. So it’s a lot of time and I know that I can play longer but I have enough time to think about this.”
