It’s time to give you the player ratings for this easy Leicester City victory against Sporting Braga at King Power Stadium on Thursday.
Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City was visited by Sporting Braga in another Europa League match of the current season. King Power Stadium opened its doors for an interesting match between the strongest clubs in Group G. Any of the two with a victory this evening would take over as the top dog of the sector.
Even though Braga does have an interesting squad for this competition, they are no match for the Foxes. As a Premier League club and a fairly recent Premier League champion. Leicester City can already be considered amongst the elite clubs in the continent. We are not exaggerating when we say that they should be in the Champions League this season.
There is no question they have to be considered amongst the top Europa League contenders due to their squad depth and talent. Today, they easily defeated Braga with many players from their bench. They had the luxury to rest Jamie Vardy and other important players. Plus, they proved that Kelechi Iheanacho can easily play in the starting eleven.

The Nigerian striker once again proved that he is top class with a fantastic performance this evening against the Portuguese squad. He didn’t only score two good goals, but he also set one of his teammates for another. The first one came during the initial 45 minutes after getting a pass from deep that he converted with ease. We didn’t see more goals until the second half, Iheanacho took a shot from a distance that got deflected and got in.
Twenty minutes later, the Nigerian international attempted a shot that came out as an assist for Praet’s goal. James Maddison also got some minutes to prove he is completely recovered from his hip problems and scored the fourth and final goal for the Foxes. With this result, Brendan Rodgers’ boys prove they are coming for the trophy this season.
