An enraged Frank Lampard slammed his LAZY Chelsea stars after tonight’s display against Arsenal in today’s Boxing Day London Derby.

Chelsea is a complete laughing stock after losing to Arsenal this evening on Boxing Day and Frank Lampard is very aware. Spending €200 million on transfers only to not get a single win against the strongest sides in English football has to sting. Lampard wasn’t happy at all after the Blues’ shameful display against the Gunners.

But more importantly, the English manager was pissed at the way they lost against a team that is currently fighting to avoid relegation. After the final whistle, Lampard sat down in front of the camera to discuss his team’s dismal performance. He was clearly livid for the lack of commitment from his players.

Frank’s rant against his players in full.

When asked about their performance, he said: “Not good enough,” stated Lampard on the Daily Mail. “First half not good enough, second half yeah good enough but a mountain to climb. We fought second half people, came on added speed and energy to our game but that should have been a given from the start. I’ll take responsibility on the outside but players have to take responsibility because the message was clear.

“This was a dangerous game, talented team, back against the wall, London derby, we were in a position where we could go second and they’re in a position where maybe they’re looking downwards. Dangerous combination, the players knew that before the game, if you have a few players go out and play 60 or 70 percent you’re not going to win any Premier League game. I’m angry because I want to win games. Today was an opportunity to go to a place where they’re having a tough time but you know how that goes.

“You either make it more difficult for them or you give them a little opening – we did that from minute one and then we continued to do it for 45 minutes and then you get what you deserve. Lazy giving away a penalty, and a free-kick, I’m very disappointed with way we approached first half. In football it’s basics, it’s not the tactics or systems, it’s do you want to run, do you want to back your team-mate up, do you want to sprint or jog or do you not want to run? And we took that decision rather than the right one. Yeah (will be demanding a reaction) and the players will have to do it, it’s up to them.”
