Starting to feel the pressure, the Blaugrana head coach has addressed the ongoing speculations about his future at Camp Nou.

Ronald Koeman has warned FC Barcelona they are “going to have problems” if he does not have a future at the club.

Koeman was handed the Barcelona reins only in August last year but his job has come under threat already.

The club legend hasn’t exactly enjoyed a dream start to his Barca managerial career, but it is the buzz around the presidential elections that’s mostly making his life hard.

There have been talks that candidates Joan Laporta and Victor Font, in order to shake things up, plan on ditching the Dutchman and appointing new coaches should they be elected.

The former Everton boss signed a two-year contract upon his arrival at Camp Nou and is determined to honor the full length of his contract.

“At any club you have difficult moments, but also pride. I want to be here and this is my job,” said Koeman, via Mundo Deportivo.

“I have not spoken to anyone. We must wait to see who comes in as the president and what his plan is.

“If I do not see a future for me, we are going to have problems, because I have one more year on my contract.

“It does not worry me. I have a contract. When we know who the president is going to be, he has to show me his way. We know that there are debates and names have come up. This does not worry me, far from it.”
