Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman says his side can be pleased with their 4-0 win over Osasuna at the Nou Camp on Sunday.

Barcelona returned to winning ways in La Liga much to the delight of manager Ronald Koeman.

The Catalan side responded to their defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid last week by thumping Dynamo Kyiv 4-0 in midweek.

Koeman restored a rested Lionel Messi back to the Barca lineup and they claimed yet another 4-0 victory to record back to back wins.

Braithwaite and Greizmann scored in the first half while Coutinho and Messi grabbed one apiece in the second period to complete the win.

After an inconsistent start to La Liga, Koeman knows his side can not accept any more slip-ups and must try and win as much as possible before the calendar year runs out.

“We were hungry to win,” he said as per the club’s social channel.

“We have 6 games left to finish the year, 4 at home. We cannot lose anymore. Yesterday we saw that if you’re not doing well, you lose. It’s a very long season, and a lot of things can happen.”

Lionel Messi did just as expected with a classy tribute to Diego Maradona after grabbing a goal in the victory. His goal accompanied by his celebration was the perfect way to do it. Koeman also shared his thoughts on that.

“Messi’s tribute? It was a great moment, first the move and then the gesture he made for Maradona.”

Barcelona will be looking to record their third successive win when they travel to Hungary to take on Ferencvaros in the Champions League on Wednesday.
