Injury problems keep on coming for the Reds, as Jurgen Klopp revealed about another serious issue for Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool just cannot catch a break with injuries as the German boss informed regarding another major blow for the club.
When the Reds clashed with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night, Roberto Firmino had to be forced off the field.
The 30-year-old had just played for 33 minutes following his introduction in the second half of the game.
Firmino ran out of luck though, as he has sustained a “serious hamstring injury” according to Liverpool manager, Klopp.
Yet, there is no news regarding the details of his problem from the manager. And the Brazilian will have to wait until further examinations.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “Bobby is not good news with a serious hamstring injury, really unfortunate. We don’t know exactly how long he will be out but it will be after the international break. We have to work on that.”
