Juventus remain in the hunt for a new striker and have reportedly made a transfer decision on free agent Diego Costa.

According to a report, Juventus have ruled themselves out of the running to sign Diego Costa.

The 32-year-old terminated his contract with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday and then explained why it was the right time to do so.

Injuries saw Costa limited to just seven appearances for Los Rojiblancos this term.

In general, his second stint at Atletico did not go as expected but the striker retains a good reputation upfront across Europe.

The next in line would be the next destination for Costa but based on the latest reports, it would likely not be Italy.

Goal report that Juventus are interested in adding a forward to their ranks this coming January but have no interest in the Spanish forward.

While the move makes sense for many reasons on paper, the report adds that Costa would bring plenty of baggage with him and the hierarchy at Juve are not willing to take that risk.

With that in mind, Juve will look for alternatives elsewhere and CEO Fabio Paratici is already looking out for the club’s next target in that department.
