Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly looking to trade one of their players for Atletico de Madrid’s €120 million record signing Joao Felix.

Joao Felix has been top-notch for Atletico de Madrid lately. His latest performances have cast aside the dreaded ‘flop’ whispers. It is only natural that as the buzz continues to grow, so does other club’s interest in the player. However, most football clubs are facing financial struggles due to the global pandemic. The two Serie A sides already seem to have an alternative solution in mind.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus and Inter are tracking 2019’s Golden Boy and have made contact with Atletico to find out if the Spanish club is willing to sell. Given Felix’s current market value, the Italian giants are considering offering one of their players to soften the financial blow.

In order to secure the 21-year-old Portuguese star, both Serie A teams are keen on offering Simeone the chance of adding a fellow countryman to his squad.

Inter Milan have considered 23-year-old Lautaro Martinez to make the swap deal. The Argentinian has been a regular presence for the Nerazzurri, scoring six goals this season.

On the other hand, Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly looking into the possibility of offering Paulo Dybala to the Colchoneros. The Argentina international’s contract renewal is on the table, and Dybala is eager to stay with the Bianconeri. However, Juve may be keen on creating a Portuguese link-up in their attacking front.

Ronaldo is one of Felix’s idols.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix have provided Portugal with a strong partnership on their last international appearances. Moreover, Felix has expressed his interest in playing with Ronaldo at club level. Therefore, it may be easier to convince the player to join Juve at Turin.

As for Diego Simeone, the manager has shown interest in both Dybala and Martinez before. Additionally, rumors of discord with Joao Felix rose after an early substitution at the Madrid derby last Saturday for La Liga.
