The Bayern Munich boss has provided a personnel update ahead of his side’s next match.

Bayern Munich will face Barcelona in their last group stage game of the Champions League on Wednesday. The Bavarians have already secured their qualification as group winners.

However, the match is crucial for Barcelona as they must win the game to make sure they remain in the competition. The Catalans are grappled with injuries themselves, but Julian Nagelsmann has revealed Bayern will also play without some of their key stars.

In a pre-match interview, the Bayern manager named five players who will miss the upcoming game.

“Goretszka has not completed training and he cannot play tomorrow,” Nagelsmann in his pre-match press conference (via Marca).

“Gnabry had problems in the aductor area against Dortmund, he is also out.

Choupo-Moteng still has some problems and he still cannot train.

“It doesn’t make sense that Kimmich plays tomorrow, and Sabitzer will be out a little longer, he is training individually.”

In case they don’t beat Bayern, Barcelona must wait for the result of the game between Dynamo Kyiv and Benfica.

The German coach added: “We will play with our best team available.

“Greetings to Lisbon (Benfica), don’t worry.”

Bayern Munich come into the match on the back of a 3-2 win over Dortmund. Following their game against Barcelona, the Bavarians will face Mainz in their next league game on Saturday.
