Wolves forward Raul Jimenez was spotted in training for the first time since he suffered an injury to his head.

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez was at the club’s training ground on Wednesday for the first time since he had surgery on a fractured skull.

The Mexican striker suffered the injury after he clashed heads with Arsenal defender David Luiz at Emirates Stadium on 29 November.

Wolves players wore T-shirts with messages of support for Jimenez just before the start of last Sunday’s match against Liverpool.

Nuno Santo’s side lost 4-0 to the defending champions in his absence.

As seen on the Wolves’ Twitter account, Jimenez went by the club’s training ground and spent some time with his teammates.

The 29-year-old greeted his manager and teammates at Compton Park following his release from the hospital.

Jimenez scored 17 goals as Wolves recorded a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season. So far this season, he has scored four times in nine appearances.

It remains to be seen for how long the striker will remain out but it is expected to take a while.

In his absence once again, Wolves will face Aston Villa at Molineux on Saturday.
